Manhattan

Manhattan was born into an affluent New York family. Her father is a successful lawyer and her mother runs a renowned publishing house. She was reared amidst status symbols like Gucci, Chanel, and Louie Vuitton creations and fashion has always been a dominant aspect of her life. Her baby clothes were of course the most avant-garde in style.

She was exhibiting originality and creative genius in her sketch book at age three and even her infant doodles revealed clean lines and industrial sleekness. She always knew she was not only a purveyor of aesthetic beauty but also an originator. She got her feet in the door of the fashion industry as a runway model on “Project Runway” aided by her angular beauty and family connections. Through her striking designs and personal charisma Manhattan shrewdly maneuvered her drawings for her first clothing line into the hands of the head of Prada, Patrizio Bertelli. He was blown away and so impressed that he pulled the right strings to arrange her first show in New York.

That was three years ago and her meteoric rise as a fashion force to be reckoned with has reached the present pinnacle. From her high rise on Madison Avenue she guides her multi-million dollar empire of twenty boutiques world wide, is soon to open two mega-stores in Las Vegas and

Aspen, and will be branching out into handbags, shoes, and other accessories, all bearing her inimitable stamp of elegance and class. Her only concern regarding mortality is that she be garbed in breathtaking attire before buried and her tombstone have only one word inscribed: “style”.
